Founder Seth Orza attended his first School of American Ballet Summer Course in 1994. Three years later he stayed for their year round program, going on to accept an apprenticeship with the New York City Ballet in the fall of 1999.
The foundational skills learned during his time at SAB taught him a deep work ethic, team play, flexibility (mind and body!) and so much more. SAB paved the way for a life in dance for Seth, and a future in entrepreneurship. We are thrilled to share the following announcement with you.
We are pleased to announce that ORZA, in partnership with the School of American Ballet, will be providing ballet shoes to each student within the School's Intermediate & Advanced Divisions for the 24-25 school year. As the official school of the New York City Ballet, SAB is among the world's preeminent ballet schools; providing young dancers with the highest caliber of training while enriching the life of every student. As an SAB and NYCB alumnus, our founder Seth Orza holds the School dear to his heart, and all of us here could not be more thrilled to launch this partnership. We look forward to supporting the next generation of dancers with Orza's patented, shock absorbing technologies, while encouraging a focus on whole dancer health and wellness for each unique young artist.
