I started Ballet a year ago when I was 68 years old. Although I have danced all my life in a variety of different ways, I never really invested the time into Ballet. So the pads on my feet are not young and I find these slippers provide more comfort when I am at class. Although I prefer leather slippers, I gave the canvas a try and I do like them, but my preference still is for leather so I will probably go back in that direction when I need to purchase another pair. And I will purchase these Ballet slippers again. They also do not separate under my toes making an uncomfortable clump. One of my teachers recommended them and I am thankful for that.
